JIC and The Paper Shelter

Before I begin this weeks challenge post with 

Just Inspirational Challenges and I want to let

you know that this is my last challenge as a DT member

with JIC!  I decided to step down as a DT member effective

November 30.  It was not a easy choice but it is for the best.

Now on to the next JIC challenge. :)

I went with a star shape card and added a

wooden snowflake embellie. I colored the image

with colored pencils and added glitter and pearls.

The Stamping Chef

I had a lot of fun coloring this image.

The possibilities are endless.

I cut the shape out of cardboard so it will be

more durable. It is now hanging in my craft room. :)

Here is the card I made using the image

Boogie Down which was generously provided

by our sponsor. 

It's very hard to get a good picture of glitter. 

The green paper is a glitter paper. I added glitter

to the image,to the stereo and to the circles.

I colored her with colored pencils and added 

some of the circles from the background strip.

Merging Ghouls ....

The Final challenge :( for the

13 Days of Halloween at Simply Betty's is all about

Merging Ghouls!!

For this challenge you had to use 2 or more

ghouls together. And they had to be black and white!

I decided to use 3 images which are

Vampire Portrait, Collette and Marie Back from Death.

For my project I altered a CD. This way it can be

hung as a decoration. I also used clear flat stones

from the dollarstore which seem to magnify the

images a bit.  To attach the images to the stones I

used mod podge and also used it to attach the stones

to the CD.  In hindsight, after my project was complete,

I realized I should have added some brown to the

images, to make them a bit less stark.

The picture is not the best. It is raining and 

overcast and dreary here today. :(
