JIC challenge and Simply B

Here are this weeks inspirational photos, yes there

are TWO, to pick from. 

I chose to do the winter scene using 

"Rio Trimming The Tree" which was generously

provided to me by our sponsor.

I am on a kick lately of using different shapes for cards.

I inked a paper doily and used it as part of the 

background and punched out some snowflakes

using my Martha Stewart punch. Of course I added

some pearls and glitter and even managed to use

some ribbon. :O

Here is my entry:

  

I cut out the flower shape by hand and used ink on the edges.

I colored the faerie with Copics and added some glitter.

I used my cuttlebug  to emboss the background paper and then

inked it with red, black and purple.  I colored my dragon with colored

pencils as I don't have the colors in Copics that I wanted to use.

Here is this weeks inspirational photo:

SO, for a chance to win the $10 gift certificate all

you have to do is create a project and use the photo

as your inspiration, use it any way you like, but we

must see how the photo was used to inspire you.

Here is what I created using "The Lost Fairy"

which was generously provided by our sponsor.

I made a tag shaped card and used a sponge

to ink the cardstock with green and red ink.

I stamped the flowers with a Stampin Up flower stamp.

I used a Q-tip and added extra ink to the flowers.

I colored the fairy with copics and added some silver

outline with a CM silver pen and added a CM bee sticker.

So, without further ado here is this weeks

inspirational photo for you to use ANY way

you like to create a project for a chance to

Here is what I did using Ava in the flower patch which was

generously provided to me from our sponsor for this challenge :)

I colored her with copics, used stickles for sparkle, the butterflies are

punched with a Martha Stewart punch. The card shape is cut out by hand.

The shape is actually the back piece of a embellishment package that I 

recycled to use as a template. :)
