Sorry for the crappy pictures, it is very hard to get a

good picture today. It is rainy, dreary and blah. It's been like

this since Thurdday and next week doesn't look any

better. We need some sun soon, it's getting depressing. lol

Been Awhile.... Oh My....

Wow! I can't believe how long it's been since I have posted.

Shame on me. LOL

Hopefully now that my work season is done I will be able

to play more and post more. :)

The monkey is a paper piecing project I did.

I got the pattern from Scrapbooks, Etc.

I love him. :) He is too cute.

Finally, a chance to post a layout that was completed

last month at a local crop. And the only thing I have

created in awhile. There just doesn't seem to be enough

hours in the day or days in the week. :O I am

missing my 'scrappy' time .... come on October. lol

Finally getting a chance to post these.

Spent the day scrappin' with my best friend

a few weeks ago. We don't get together as often as

I'd like due to work schedules and life, but

I enjoy our time together when we can.

Ribbon Rave Week #6

The final week is here, it sure went quickly.

I'm going to miss the challenges, they were

a lot of fun.

This weeks challenge is to:

Use black and white and one other color.

Journaling must be prominent on your layout.

Use a quote.

And to WOW them with your ribbon use creativity.

Ribbon Rave Week #5

For this weeks challenge you had to:

Create a layout about yourself.

You had to show dimension and

you had to alter your ribbon.

My pic and the embellie in the corner

of my pic are popped up using pop dots.

The lollipop flower is from a swap made by Lisa.

Paula and I attended a Crop for Cancer.

It was a fun day and for a great cause.

Lots of food, great prizes and awesome goodie bags.

Between all the chatting and eatting I manged to get

a few layouts done and a card. :):)

He is soooooo cute even when he looks sour. LOL

This weeks challenge is

The Power of Three.

You had to use the following recipe:

3 photos

3 pp

3 ribbon

3 different types of embellies

And you had to Weave ribbon.

Which I found out quite quickly that i suck at it. LOL

Ribbon Rave Week #3

This weeks challenge was to use this ad as inspiration

and to use ribbon bows.

For my layout I used design elements from the ad.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my new tat.

I am very impressed with the beautiful job

done by Aaron at Artistic Issues.

It looks identical to the picture,

which is Jaleesa when she was 3.

As soon as it is totally healed and

touched up I will post new pics.

Ribbon Rave Week #2

Week #2

This weeks challenge was to use the provided

sketch for your layout and to create your

own ribbon flowers. I made mine from scraps of

ribbon. I just kept folding the ribbon over

and I used lots of glue dots to hold the ribbon

in place, then added a button.

Ribbon Rave Week #1

The Great Ribbon Rave is on at

Savvy n Sassy.

Contest runs for 6 weeks with a chance to win

some great ribbon kits.

Week #1 Challenge was to choose a color

combo from the 3 they had listed.

And to use at least 4 different ribbons.

I used lace, ric rac, pom pom and grosgrain.

Scrappy Weekend Away

Paula and I attended a weekend crop in

Liverpool at the Best Western.

Our first time there. It was very nice.

I hope to go back again.

Surprisingly I managed to get some layouts done.

:):)

Love Is In The Details On-line Crop

Challenge was to use a song title from the

80's or 90's.

I used "You've got a friend in me" from

Toy Story.

Challenge was to use handmade flowers.

I cut strips of felt, sewed them together and

sewed a button in the center. I like these and

will probably make more. :)

Finally ... a little mojo

I purchased this artist's tray kit from

Savvy n Sassy. Just about everything i used

is from the kit except for a few of my own

embellies and stickles, etc.

Still debating if i want to add more to it or not.

We'll see.

much easier to get going.

I have had forever. Bonus! lol

Another card. I love my cuttlebug for embossing.

I am really hoping to get back into the swing of things after all

my christmas stuff is taken care of. I can't believe it's been 2 months

since I have completed a layout. sigh ... hopefully soon.
